Very common in Hollywood circles, yes. She has so little muscle tone, she probably does take it. |
If you are fit enough to run marathons, what is Wegovy helping with? (Like you, I'm not judging, just curious about your goals.) Does insurance cover it as long as you're over certain weight? |
Not the PP but seriously to the bolded question? Size=fitness capacity. |
DP and don't want to take away from the marathon runner. But for me, it was the ability to not think about food all the time, portion control, making healthier choices. Carrying extra weight is super hard on one's joints. |
First of all it shuts off the little addiction voice telling you to get more more more. Some people call it food noise but it's not just food, but alcohol for me. Some people find they can quit smoking on this when they never could before. But there's also likely something going on with subclinical metabolic syndrome. It was always suspected that I had *something* - hypothyrodism? PCOS? Prediabetes? And tests always come back clear and then doctors are just like "well I am out of ideas". The drug makes me a pretty tired so it actually makes exercising harder, but the weight is suddenly very easy to shift after 25 years of trying everything under the sun (WW, Atkins, keto, paleo, intermittent fasting, that stupid cayenne lemonade thing, you name it I've thrown myself into it at some point or another) for very minimal results. |
From my experience, it's a non-issue. I lost 40 pounds over the course of 6 months and have maintained it for almost 2 years since then. I microdose (so use the 1.0 dose, not any of the 3 higher doses that are available). Except for heartburn the first month, I've had no side effects. |
I'm relatively small and went on it to lose 10 lbs. It's been great and have had no side effects. I sometimes get gassy if I don't listen to my body and eat too much. |
This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Kristen Bell has ALWAYS been tiny. Michelle Obama looks the same as she has always looked - muscular. |
| Channing Tatum? Come on. |
|
John Goodman
Rosie O'Donnell Oprah Winfrey All lost significant amounts of weight on it. |
sure, look at the trailer for his new movie, Roofman |

Who cares? It's part of their job to be fit and lean. Hollywood has been using every trick in the book since tv/movies were a thing.
It's like expecting a lawyer not use online legal research, but instead to do it the "right way" by sitting a law library every night. |
No way, Michelle has lost a solid 30 pounds. She’s thin now. |
God yes. She used to be so pretty. |
What doctor would prescribe it if you were already small? |
