Who is going to give the enemas, insert the IVs, respond to stat teams, check the stool for blood, measure the chemo infusions, administer the meds per patient symptoms, insert the foley catheters, etc? A lot of it is hands-on. I don’t understand how AI could replace that. |
I work in southern NH, so definitely lower pay than other areas. I make 140K year as a nurse working 36 hrs a week. Depending on what area you work in, there can be differentials. Mine is 40% my base. I've been a nurse for 9 years. |
What is the wage difference between the ones who go to community college and those who get a bachelors/masters degree (are those the RNs?)? |
RNs is a license after a board exam and an associates degree. So you can graduate with an associate in nursing and get your RN license after passing the board. Every RN I Know makes over 100k. Sure, the pick up an extra shifts and work 4 12 hour days instead of 3 12 hour shifts. That's not that difficult given that most people i know with professional jobs work 45- 50 hours and have student loans. |
It's the same. No one wants to train. Once you have a couple of years of experience, you are golden. |
