The judges that need to be fired are the activists judges handing down decisions that are constantly overturned.
IMO - if a judge routinely makes decisions that are overturned by a higher court, that judge should be forced to pay the court costs or step down. Enough of this crap.

And, as far as democrats ignoring the progressive wing of the party - it won't happen. NYC is the perfect example. They are EMBRACING the progressive wing. And, it will lead to their demise.

In fairness to NYC voters, they had no good options. Cuomo is an egotistical, sexual harasser. I guess because, after Trump, nobody cares about that anymore. Adam’s is a compromised crook, in Trump’s debt. And the guy the Dens selected to represent them in the general election wants to increase NYC debt. Only 17% of the people voted in the primaries.

RBG refusing to retire despite her severe health issues during the Obama administration and a Senate that could confirm a good replacement was the original sin that lead to this 6-3 ideological debacle. RBG's ego has been catastrophic for the country. Then throw in Mitch McConnel's treachery. And Democrats being absolute morons with refusing to have open primaries and insisting on imposing weak candidates that allowed Trump to sleepwalk into the presidency - twice. And here we are. Plus, Biden's pick, Ketanji Brown Jackson, has been pretty weak on the Court and isn't doing Democrats any favors in terms of their judgment in regards to SC nominations. And Garland too - the Obama pick - subsequently proving he's spineless and just another milquetoast Washington creature.

Amy Coney Barrett seems to have a bit of an independent streak and would be a swing vote if only Democrats weren't such disasters in both politics and SC picks.

Uh, if you think Trump and a Republican senate is going to appoint someone better than Sotomayor, maybe spend a little time understanding how Supreme Court picks get nominated and confirmed first. Sotomayor needs to hang on as long as she has a pulse in the current environment. Which is a very different situation than Ginsburg.
