He announced his 70% tariffs 7/3. Just to eff with everyone.

The only way to invest IMHO is regularly without looking at the market. If you no longer believe in the US or its economy, maybe look internationally to countries you respect and think have a good plan to invest. There are many good ways to invest internationally now. As for me, I just keep stuffing money in a broad basket of domestic and international funds and never change my strategy based on the political news cycle. It's too stressful and most people can't time it well.

Good luck!

Have you been living under a rock?
The predictions were accurate. The market crashed in march-april with the tariff mess.
I sold in January and got back in again after the crash in April. I made a ton of money.
Why didn’t you do the same?

I’m giving you another info. The market will crash again soon. Be prepared this time around to get back at the right time.

You’ve totally missed my point. I don’t want to make money off of TACO. I want him to FAIL.

How terrible.

I have traded and since China trade "deal" he posted on Truth Social I am up 300k from trading. That was on May 7th in the evening.

Overall balance probably up around 500k.

Yes how terrible to desire the failure of a corrupt felon who is sending innocent people to South Sudan or “alligator Alcatraz.”

The job report I just saw was the employment numbers are up, particularly in the government sector.

You can’t time the market. Keep your politics away from your financial decisions. How many times does it need to be said? Trump is bad for a lot of reasons. But the stock market will rise and fall in the short term and rise consistently over a long time horizon. I can’t imagine the people that went to cash as the market fell or even worse….shorted the market. The amount of money they lost because they have such a narrow view of history and of “unprecedented times.”

There are two job reports that come out the same week. ADP is a private firm specializing in estimating private sector payrolls. They said that the country lost jobs. The official government job report was up by a modest amount, including the private sector, but with a lot of hiring in state and local governments (which does seem odd).

I am ssorry I said it as a joke. First round, the island got 29% tariff. Tiny island probably has no money to pay lobbyists in DC. The President wants to hit some countries with 70% , why not hit the small countries with “no voice” and still can say “we tag 70% tariff “ I think one island with no people got hit with tariff on the first round.

the market this year is base on politics not the performance of companies. I think the next 3 years will be the same. If you can read the President’s next move, you win the money.

No one uses that term you coined except maybe a dozen people in a very closed online circle and some chinese bot farms.

No one uses it in real life.
