+1. BIL is a retired SEAL. They had all sorts of pills that would make pain disappear, appetite vanish and sleep unnecessary. He talked about missions where he'd be up for 4 days.

Funny how practically everyone here is related to a SEAL. Like, there’s only maybe ten thousand guys who’ve ever been SEALS since the Teams were created in the 60’s - but somehow, some way, DCUM posters are usually related to one of them.

I think a lot more than 10,000. 2,500 on active and another 400 reserves. But people who have served as seals and still on active duty in other roles is likely another few thousand right now. Probably 25-30 thousand in total.

Seal Team 6 and Delta are the real small
communities.
