Those would be in the top 10 for sure.

There is pretty widespread academic consensus that Jesus and Muhammad were really historical figures.

That doesn't mean a thing.
There was once widespread academic consensus the Earth was flat and the center of the Universe also.

There wasn't any evidence for those theories. It was just accepted as fact.

Same thing. It's just some people saying something. Skepticism is a feature not a bug.

There's little hope for you.

Hope is a feeling of being helpless and wanting a miracle.

Do or do not, there is no in between.

You really think Osama Bin Laden was behind all of what they said??

I've never seen his birth certificate, so it would take a lot to convince me that he even existed.

I can't read all 100 easily bcs you linked some wiki page.
But, clearly, the person who made modern life possible is missing. Nikola Tesla.
Without him, we would not have alternating current and no electricity as we know it now to allow us to live the way we live and not worry about most of our conveniences.

I do not understand what some of these women have done to be influential. Cleopatra? What was her influence? Marie Antoinette? What was her influence? Jane Austen wrote great books, but I am not sure how she influenced anything. Boudica fought against the Romans, but changed nothing and influenced nothing. Same as Cleopatra. I presume you refer to Elizabeth I, who made the English Church what it is?

DP. Don't be such a dumb narcissist. We have historical evidence that they existed, in written records, the original sources from the Romans about Christ. He was an undisputed historical figure. Clearly, he was the forefather of philosophy that is now called communism and that has widespread appeal to many people who understand the philosophy of equality. I am not referring to the economic orders that use communism to bastardize the term and the theory and to abuse others.

Gee wiz, anyone can write something down. Doesn't make it historical fact.

"Aliens visited me just now. We talked and laughed, and they went back to their planet." <--- Now there is historical records online that anyone can research to prove aliens visited Earth.

Among the 12 disciples were people who wrote extensively about Jesus (hint, it's called books in the Bible) and went on to found churches, including St. Peter who established what is now the Catholic church. The early history of Christianity is quite fascinating. Are you alleging that all these people throughout the first few hundred years conspired to invent a totally fictional preacher to hoodwink people? I'm not a "believer" in a meaningful sense but even I accept the very high plausibility of a gifted preacher and thinker who, over the next few centuries, was effectively deified by his followers.

Sneering about aliens is a mark of dimwitted bigotry. And even if you refuse to accept the existence of someone who was the origin of Jesus, the figure in the Bible is still a powerful concept with a strongly human-oriented philosophy and moralism that resonates to this day that in a way it's practically irrelevant whether Jesus existed or not.
