This. I'm thinking they got a job paying $10K more to move here and think it's worth it. |

Years ago I wanted to buy a property but I knew I would be moving overseas in a year for at least a few years. So it had to be a house easily rented with reliable tenants. Bought a townhouse in a public school district highly sought after by Asian-American families. It was "way out in the suburbs" but I wasn't being sentimental, this was a purely economic /investment transaction.
After that first year I never lived in the house, it's still a rental, and it's done extremely well for me. All my tenants have been reliable Asian heritage families who want the good schools and they treat the house well and stay for at least a few years. In the 10+ years I ended up living abroad I had no issues renting it out and problems/issues were at the bare minimum. Suggest the same. |
This is low key extremely racist and something Jared Taylor or Steve Sailor would write. NGL. |

You lost me at walking distance to metro.
Many have parking garages. Living within 1-2 miles of metro is sufficient. Look near Vienna metro, or West Falls Church metro. |
+1. I think the rental market near Reston might not be as guaranteed as Vienna or Dunn Loring, but I honestly don't know. |
Reston for sure. |
