Your exaggeration is quite funny.
Thanks for the good laugh.
|
| It was not meant as an exaggeration. If you feel that you must tear down someone else's life, you must be very unhappy in your own. |
Celebrities live a public life and put themselves on display. Ridicule and derision are part of the game. Ridiculing a supermodel does not mean one is unhappy. Being mean or cold to your sister or another close person in your life might mean that, but making fun of a celebrity does not. |
| I do not see the difference. You and I can just agree to disagree. |
NP here. Ridicule and derision might not mean one is unhappy. But it does mean one is not a nice person. Making fun of anyone isn't kind and frankly. Do you want your children to grow up to be someone who ridicules and makes fun of other people? Yeah - this doesn't matter or mean anything because they're just a celebrity - right? Shouldn't you rise above? There was a post last week about a child hitting another child on the playground. The hitter was around 3 and the hittee was 2, I believe. It was posted that the hitter was probably going to grow up to be a bully. I would say a child with parents that think it's ok to make fun of other people probably is going to grow up and be a bully. Nice. |
I vill not reisen to der bait. |
| We had a word for people like OP and the PP who "tries" to like germans in high school..."Haters". You couldn't sound more jealous and just nasty. |

I don't know, I actually kind of like her. I don't think she's the brightest bulb on the string, but she seems of open and down-to-earth, especially for a supermodel. And her husband seems like a nice guy, with a great voice. I figure if anyone should be having 4 kids, it should be people with plenty of money and interesting lives and flexible careers, who can give their kids really cool lives.
ok, and I wouldn't mind looking like her either! I've only had one kid and I'm having trouble getting back to my pre-baby body!

NP here. See, I really liked Heidi Klum a lot, and much of her charm for me was her personality (besides the fact that she's gorgeous). And then I heard she was actually quite the bitch. I have no idea if this is true, but if it were, it would make me like her so much less. She of course doesn't have to give a damn what I think, but she does want viewers, so she probably shouldn't go out of her way to turn them off. Jumping over to the shallow end, I have to ask WTF is up with her nose? She is a beautiful woman. Her nose looked FINE, great even, when she won her first modeling competition years and years ago. No, it wasn't the tiniest nose ever, but it was harmonious with the rest of her face, and it didn't look like a shrunken pinched bump. The fact that she's gorgeous despite her plastic surgery fuck-up really says something. And 8:47, I think I love you. I cheer every time I see you pop up on a thread. |
| Is it wrong to love Hitler? |
I would not trust that man.
|
| This seems to have gone downhill quickly. |
Were you picked on in high school or something? I assure you I wasn't one of the mean girls. If a supermodel can't get on one's nerves, who can, for Pete's sake? Get over yourself and your holier than thou attitude. |
This thread is just one more sign of the decadence of American capitalism. Socialism needs to be installed in this country as well.
As for Heidi Klum, she seems reasonable and is not one-tenth the lapdog for capitalist arrogance that is Gisele Bundchen. |
| Trash Heidi Klum because she's a super model? And her husband...because he's married to her? I don't know. Seems strange to hate someone for really no reason at all. |
