I love the name Karen for my friends and from the James Taylor song.

When we were thinking up names, Rosemary came up and all I heard was "Oh, No! Rosemary's Baby!"

Some associations take a long time to die.

I'm also a Karen, and just used my middle name or Hebrew name for things like putting your name down at a restaurant, or giving a name at Starbucks.
