| When I graduated from boarding school in 94, my dad had lost his job. I borrowed my dress from a friend. I’m sure my mom wore a sari she had, and my dad wore a suit. While I looked nice in the borrowed white dress, I remember having to go around asking the girls in my dorm if I could borrow one. It had big poufy sleeves, which was not my style at all. OP, if you can buy something special, do it for you and your daughter. Feel pretty, if not poufy or fussy, and take lots of pictures. |
