No more than Campbell. some neighborhood title I schools more likely to lose their status before Campbell or ATS. VPI will keep low income enrollment steady. |
Because neighborhood schools on cusp can easily tip the other way. |
OR they know many of the higher income families in the neighborhood won’t send their kids to a Title 1 school, making it even more low-performing. |
+1 ATS won’t have that problem. |
They will if performance starts to decline. And this application for Title 1 makes it seem like things are heading in that direction. |
If APS applies for ONE school that’s under 50% FRL, that’s inequitable for the other schools that also meet the criteria. |
Sure. Whatever you say. Check back on waitlist next year and let us know. |
Oh I’m sure there will be a huge waitlist from SA. Let’s check back and see how many NA families apply. |
Probably as many as there are now. Not very many. |
Title 1 status will deter some families from applying. The families who choose between private schools and ATS. So the school will become more and more low income. Wait and see. |
Fleet and innovation are close. |
Our kids would be in private if they weren’t in ATS. We can afford private but we love the diversity at ATS and high achievement at ATS. |
That’s a different story when achievement declines. |
That hasn’t happened at Campbell and they are a title I option school. |
