You obviously don't know dick about DC golf. East Potomac and Rock Cree are majority black and poor, fool. |
OP here. Why do you have to assume that I am white and grew up with money? FWIW, I am asian, and my parents were poor Vietnamese immigrants when they came to the US. I am just grateful to have found a good-paying job at the age of 56. |
| So you got the job for reasons that have nothing to do with genuine qualifications. It would be fairer to pick names from a hat. |
So you think because he did better in the interview and has years of experience he some how has less technical knowledge? Talk about make sh#t up. |
| So your direct manager preferred someone else and knows you and the CIO have a special connection? That’s going to be fun. |
| Nice work OP! Inspiring story. |
| Congratulations! |
Nice fake story. You would have been 6 at fall of Saigon — so you would have said they were poor immigrants when “we came to the us”. My BFF growing up was Vietnamese, there is no way they were paying green fees regularly to play a game. Hat tip to make sure you story was you weren’t a fancy Asian. |
I agree. I call BS |
I’m in HR. I call bullshit. There is NO WAY In HELL 150 candidates were contacted for phone interview. Maayyybe 15-25. On sites? BS that 25 candidates were walked through that lobby. Maybe 8-10 tops. |
| Congrats! Thanks for sharing!! |
Dummy. |
Stunned by the wit and wisdom of your retort. |
|
Classic dcum thread.
Aha look at racist privilege! My parents were poor immigrants Aha fake story! |
I think OP is exaggerating by x10, at least. 250 applications, 15 phone interview, 2 in person |
