There are medical museums if they like science . A train trip to Giverny if they like art (to see Monet’s house and garden). It may not rain all day.

(Bring layers. A rainy spring day can be very chilly. )

Mont St Michel is too far for a day trip (possible, but not a good plan to enjoy it). Views would also be diminished in the rain and you generally walk to and up the Mount.
