+1000. While he ran in 2016 he criticized Obama's golfing and said if elected, he wouldn't have time to play golf. Then in his first term he proceeded to play golf at a higher rate than Obama did. Now he's playing even more golf than that. In theory I don't have a problem with Trump delegating power while he golfs - except that now he's delegated that power to Elon. Sad!

Anyone who thinks the Dems lost to Trump and only trump is not seeing the real picture. Dems lost becuase we as a society have failed to reign in and moderate online news. Full stop. This is obvious to me during the election, but any niggling doubt I had over this was erased by reading Careless People.

Dems didn’t lose just to Trump, they lost to the Trump and Big Tech alliance. If you own the media and how media is delivered, you own the election and so Trump, Russia and Big Tech won the election. It wasn’t about policy as much as it is the robber barons of the 21st century winning the election.
