For next year's coaching slate, is the first name the main coach? The number of names on the girls and boys side is bananas. There is no way anyone knows which coach they are signing up for. Is this status quo for Brave 1.0 and FVU 1.0? Is MV any good and can turn this around?

Where was this information a year ago when we signed up for one of these teams? Horrible year for my boy and everything said above is so true. Makes me feel better that others had a similar experience.

goalie coach was a joke. he is a true narcissist.

Isn’t he supposed to actually be worth it being the son of a pro dc United former GK? Was he bad coaching or just a clown as a person? Or both?

BH is not the son of a former goalie, he WAS the former goalie for DC United. I heard the kids loved BH as their goalie coach. Practices were intense and a great learning experience. He also was very interested in their play and would talk to them about each of their games. Really a great coach. The problem was he was stretched too thin. He wasn't done with his playing career and was playing on a few semi-pro teams. He would miss over 25% of the practices. I think right now he is playing with Miami FC.

When his playing career is finally over, I think he will be a great coach and I wish him the best of luck.

The way GM talks to the parents who are literally paying his salary is disgusting. And he treats the kids even worse. He needs to go. Anyone thinking of sending their kid to that club needs to run the other way.

Who makes the fvu hiring decisions? Is it know that these guys are awful? I keep hearing how bad coaches are at the highest level. One would think that there are a lot of very strong and qualified coaches chomping at the bit to replace them.

GM is the top of FVU, and before that Brave and before that BRYC. Starting to see the thread? He’s been in charge of BRYC forever.
