Is it possible to separate a person from their politics?

Nonsense. There are no good MAGATs. Only selfish, racist voters interested in lies and the dismantling of our democracy. Or very, very stupid people who have never taken a civics course in their life and don’t know what democracy is. Either way - I have cut all MAGATs out of my life. Good riddance to them all. I have enough other level-headed non-MAGAT family members and friends. I don’t need these other losers in my life.

And I’d like to add that I’m not a Democrat or a liberal.

Yeah, shipping in millions on non citizens to vote and skipping the primary election process was quite a wake up.

You are exactly the type of person most people avoid.
And it is why polls show Democrat approval (read unhinged left wingers) is at an all time low.

How do you know who your friends and family voted for? Do you actually poll them? I know who my husband voted for, but unless there is a political sign in their front yard, I do not know who they voted for.

Of course. My parents and I are not on the same political page at all but they exist as people in many ways that have nothing to do with politics. My father is an extremely generous person and now that he is retired his life is pretty much just helping others - giving them rides, helping them move, meeting them for breakfast or lunch, getting them things they need, fixing things for them etc. He always has great stories, the grandkids love him and he loves them and he will play with them down on the floor or runing around the house for hours.

My mother's passions in life are flowers and birds and she spends a great deal of time on these interests and in creating a very serene and peaceful place - her backyard is like a botanical garden! I greatly enjoy spending time with her in the garden, listening to her talk about her birds and looking at the beauty of nature.

You drank the KoolAid on those millions of noncitizens voting in the presidential elections. Good luck with your other life decisions.

This thread is precisely why democratic approval numbers are currently at 27%. Burning random people’s cars and rage hating anyone with even a slight difference in opinion is not serving us.

Except that I’m not a left winger but whatever. I want your people to avoid me at all costs so please keep doing that.

I’m a democrat Tesla driver and you guys are making me hate you! I bought my car (the lowest end model 3) because it was actually affordable (do the math on the low end 3 vs a Camry) because of the high mileage I drive. I was attracted to no gas, no oil changes. Now I have to worry about some absolute lunatic spray painting my car or lighting it on fire. If you think this kind of craziness strengthens the liberal position, you are mistaken. I just want to drive to work in peace and do not think vandalizing innocent hard working people’s cars is an appropriate response to anything.

I agree. Not anymore.

+1. Not anymore. I think it is very important now to distance one’s self, as our children and grandchildren will judge/blame us if we don’t.

When people make statements that diminish the value of another human being in front of my kids, id be sure to say something to the speaker and explain /have conversation about it with my kids. If it happened routinely, we’d stop spending time with that person.

Noncitizens can’t vote (mostly period but in municipalities where they’ve allowed local votes, they can’t vote for national elections). But keep spewing your lies and falsehoods.

There have been ten incidents nationally. Comparatively, over 2000 people committed criminal acts while storming the Capitol on Jan 6th and 1,270 were convicted.
Me thinks your fear is misplaced, and if you continue to worry and your anxiety increases, you could always put a sticker on it “owe to much to sell it today, hate Elon too.”

Ok. So the ignore politics/MAGA beliefs gang seems to be concerned about millions of illegals voting to steal the election and their Teslahood.

Ya sound like a fun crowd. Sorry to miss the fun.
