Pizza by the slice in NoVA

Mario’s in Arlington is good if you have no taste buds or sense of smell.

Pizza by the slice places are generally pretty awful and notorious for cheap ingredient. Particularly in VA. Bleekers in NYC is tolerable if you have tourist guests to show around.

The Italian store does decent pizza by the slice, but it’s not going to meet the soaring levels of New York. Their sliced pizza is exactly the same as the whole pizzas. I usually get the supreme or Sicilian.

NYC public schools. Give them a break.

Fairlington Pizza in Alexandria sells by the slice! They are fresh and delicious whenever I’ve had them.

I second Mamma Lucia’s in Fairfax. We love their pizza!

Benny DiForza's in Del Ray if you're not afraid of a giant slice.

Mama lucia can be very good, good sauce and great crust, but they usually don’t put enough sauce on it so it can be dry and lacking flavor.

I always thought it was sketchy seeing a half baked slice of pizza sitting for an unknown amount of time in a display case and then have the pizzeria finish cooking it. I’d rather just order a small fresh made pie.

I always thought it was sketchy to have a meal made from stuff that's been sitting in a fridge for an unknown amount of time. I would rather pick an apple fresh from the tree.

Blasphemy...Mario’s requires you be hammered at 3am and get a greasy cheesesteak and that delicious slice of thick pizza.

You’re doing it wrong!

I did say if you have no taste buds or sense of smell. Being hammered is kind of the sane thing :)
