+1.

I was asked on a date to see Riverdance once and I turned the guy down. It's very meh, and I assumed he was too.

Try to get tickets to the J6 Prison Choir instead. Their musical debut at KC was recently announced at CPAC.

That sounds like a great fancy date.

Most people aren't crazy about politics like the dc moms crowd

You clearly are a new interloper. You hope and pray people aren't paying attention to the illegal, immoral, unethical things President Musk and his favorite patsy Drumpf are doing. They are destroying democracy. They are upfront about this. They believe no rules apply to them.

What kind of human posts 200 times a slur against people with disabilities on his favorite forum? Is that something a sane person would do?

I dont like this as a first date b/c you get very little time to get to know each other.

I saw it about 5 years ago and it is a long show, something to consider if you are just getting to know someone….

I’d rather do dinner and a movie. Cheaper and less formal.

we saw riverdance at wolf trap probably 8-10 years ago now. My daughter is a dancer, so she enjoyed it.

I would enjoy Riverdance, but my husband would want to leave at intermission bc he would find it repetitive and boring. It’s an expensive ticket, but that may not be a concern for you.

You could eat at Circa in foggy bottom. The KC shuttle could bring you over if you arrive early and park. The KC sit down restaurant is average and pricey. Same with the KC cafe (but less pricey).

I was going to say the same - Circa is perfect for this. There's a shuttle to the Kennedy Center that is right there.

Thanks, Obama!
