I'm sure we could've saved a bit with more effort, but we got it for a price in line with the statistics/anecdotes I was seeing.
Anyway, we bought at Landmark, which was both the most responsive to our emails and calls and was within a couple hundred of the lowest price. Went in with a checkbook and left with a new car a couple hours later, no pushing on loans, extended warranties (they did the spiel but didn't press, and seemed to cut it short based on my facial expression), or anything else.
The only other dealership that stands out in memory was Hendrick (Woodbridge), where we ended up (without trying to) talking to three different people who all repeatedly promised OTD quotes were coming and never provided them. But, at least until I stopped checking, they continued to clog my burner email account with multiple daily expressions of ardent desire to sell me a car.
I have nothing bad to say about the buying experience at Landmark.
But do not, under any circumstances, have your vehicle serviced there.
