State Dept removing passport processing from USPS post offices?

It actually hasn't been hard at all, we had no problem renewing new passports over the summer. We were able to find an appointment the same week we were looking and got the passports back quickly. What we haven't received back is the children's old passports.


But last summer was a different administration that wasn't trying to fire 70% of the staff...

No. This is old advice that would have worked two years ago.

If an adult, you have to do it online unless you lost your passport or need it in a very short time period.
