Musk is fraudulently collecting multiple paychecks.

If a federal employee were collecting a full time paycheck from the government and at the same time was collecting full time pay from SpaceX, Tesla, Starlink and wherever else at the same time that they were supposed to be working for the government they'd get fired.

Also: building and operating a global high speed satellite broadband service and sending into orbit the largest spacecraft in history.

Many of them have become the kind of libertarian that involves having their own private islands / private compounds with private security where they figure they can be overlords of their own little fiefdoms while they chop the legs out from the government. I've seen that for years, with Thiel and others.

He doesn't pay himself an exorbitant salary because he borrows against the value of his shares. In other words, he doesn't have to pay income taxes on the money he extracts.
