RHOBH, Season 14

My opinion: Kyle regrets the decision to split with Mo. I think she thought he would fail without her and instead he’s the one thriving while she’s struggling. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

I notice Dorit seems to be over the burglary attempt which it was such a big deal to her last season. It hasn’t come up once - I would not expect the trauma to just disappear when she was so traumatized last season.

To be fair we don't know what questions producers ask. They very much decide on story lines for the "characters" and ask questions based on that. This season her divorce is more interesting so they've moved on. As for Kyle, ita with you about the Mo thing. She couldn't stand him, until he was gone and she realized she messed up. She annoys me with the PK texting thing. I think it's a no brainer not to text him, especially that weird text which could be seen as being on his side against Dorit.

Is Kyle still banging the country singer, Morgan Wade?

Sutton’s toast at the Viper Room (“we’re not friends! Here’s to cordiality”) had me in stitches. Erika is back to being funny and is downright likeable this season. Her one liners are classic. It’s refreshing. I haven’t liked her ever as much as I do this season. Garcelle is still funny. And I absolutely love the new cast member - Bozomo Saint John. Her commentary is spot on and so dark funny!! This is one of the best seasons!

I rewatched all of RHOBH over the course of 2024 and was very surprised to see how many times Kyle and Dorit fought and how much Dorit stood up to Kyle all these years. I'm not sure why everyone is acting this season like Dorit has finally found her voice - she hasn't shut up since the day she joined the show. We all know how she feels about everything, ad nauseum (just ask Andy Cohen). They're playing up this arc like she's been a wallflower all these years and just taken sh*t from Kyle when in reality that hasn't been then case at all.

She's also so calm, pleasant and is going for the good friend angle rather than drama. Dorit is activated and fantastic against Kyle. It's about time people rebel against her because she's always been insufferable. I love Boz as well: she is smart, honest, funny, and will not do other people's dirty work for them. Sutton cracks me up, and her assistant is basically Guillermo in What we do in the shadows.

!!!!!

Can we please make Avi and Guillermo a couple?

Boz is coming on a little strong for me. Her and dorit is weird. She just overly involved and opinionated for a new person. Her relationship also looks like a disaster.
Happy for Garcelle in the beach house scene that her family is doing so well.
Sutton looks really great this season but not particularly likeable.

How is Dorit unreasonable? Kyle is texting her dh behind her back, and not just memes! I think it's normal to find that inappropriate in the time of a divorce/separation. She says herself she's not in a good place. And I think Boz is siding with Dorit because she senses Kyle is full of shit. Garcelle I don't think is doing that well. She seems reluctant to address much beyond the other women and her own kids, and uses their stories as the focus.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all we know that Kyle texted PK is something saying she's still his friend and she's there for him and she won't betray his confidence if he tells her anything. She didn't show anything beyond that text, right? So what else is there?

I think that text has been blown out of proportion. Of course Dorit has a right to be upset about her supposedly close friend texting her husband behind her back, but I'm not sure we can appreciate when that text was sent (i.e. it seems like it was in the beginning when Dorit and PK were talking four times a day and things were very cordial) and what else the two of them have been texting. If she sent that text after they separated and things were good and that's it then that's not that big of a deal. I feel like they're bringing it up now, when things aren't good, and making a big deal about it (hello, Puppygate!). I don't love Kyle and I think she's being annoying cagey this season about her life but I can see why she is upset about how this is being handled. She's being made out to be the bad guy when there are much bigger issues going on.

Sutton is useless but amusing at least.

Love Erica this season! Amazing resilience! I would still be curled up in a ball if I went through what she did. And she’s being so kind, calm and a good friend this year.

I don't dislike Garcelle although I do think sometimes she is too blunt about stuff and could have handled it better. But if I'm being honest, she's the only POC who has lasted. Joyce only lasted one season, I think with Crystal they didn't see longevity, Sheree was only ever a friend (because she brought nothing to the table), then Annemarie only lasted a season. Now we have Boz, so we'll see how that goes. But if they fired her, BH could go back to being all white, and I think they're very aware of that. Hence why Katie Ginella is coming back to OC - she wasn't that great last season.

I agree with you. I think she was so excited about the liberation of Kyle last season but she expected Mo to see the error of his ways and stop working so much and beg her to come back to him. And then that didn't happen and she's facing a future all alone in that big, beautiful house.

As for Dorit, I'm hoping they told her to stop talking about the burglary because everyone was so tired of hearing about it.

I think the issue is that she was not being honest: the texting was not just memes, it was a heartfelt message too. She kept saying oh Dorit, why are you upset, it's just memes, and minimizing how Dorit felt about it. Why not just tell Dorit "yes, I sent him a nice supportive text, I should have told you." End of it. Instead she cries and cries about being made into the bad guy when the lack of accountability is more of an issue than the actual actions which I agree are not that big a deal at all.

Yes, this. It's that she lied. And if she's willing to lie about that, what else might she be lying about?

Kathy Hilton is a housewife. Crystal was but she left. I wish she stayed on!

I do not really personally subscribe to the idea that we as women can't be friends with our friends' husbands. However, what we can't do is talk about our female friend WITH the husband or be a sounding board for the husband to discuss their relationship. In any relationship where people are potentially struggling over issues (could be friends too), you pick a lane of who you're going to be intimate with and hear a lot of details from otherwise the whole thing is a mess and you're involved and mediating and sharing info you probably shouldn't be sharing. Kyle is a grown adult and should know this. I think the truth is she likes PK better than Dorit.

Isn't she still a friend of the cast and not a cast member?

No, Crystal is totally gone from the show. Kathy is still on.
