False8 is what you make of it. My kids went early on and it was solid, but primarily depended on the motivation and intensity of 9-11 year olds so it was great for those 9-11 year olds who know they’re going pro or have a parent watching their every move and coaching from the sidelines.
It’s great to see a local business blow up, but I’ve now been turned off by the same videos of kids trying to become instagram famous… the same kids my kids shut down to cut off their highlight reels during the regular season.
Parents are investigating into Instagram kids accounts full of early highlights because it might pay off in the future. Plenty of coaches select based on u little fame already unfortunately. You get extra points if you dye your hair and have a modern mullet.
Yes lol This is the boy equivalent to a girl with a neon headband that matches their neon shoes. But hey, that NIL money is getting parents fired up about Social Media!
This! It’s a shame honestly. False8 is a great training program but they are starting to lose focus on their mission by just highlighting kids trying to get ig famous. |

Completely agree with this.

Yes just let the training speak for itself. They are prying on parents that exploit their kids for content and that experience fomo. |
| They were working overtime this weekend at the Mid Atlantic Championship. Not sure how many of their teams made it to finals and won. |
1. And zero. |
| Agree with all the points about False8 training. DD has tried a variety of soccer clinics in the area. HP Elite is well-rounded with shooting and ball mastery, but the intensity depends on the kids that attend, which are mostly Valor kids. False8 focuses on ball handling moves, plus LOTS of sprinting. Barely any shooting exercises. The moves look nice on Instagram, but it doesn’t win games. |
| Kinda weird to use farmed bots and apps to inflate those insta followers numbers. Why is youth soccer plagued with self-conscious and con artists? |
Money of course. |
One team reached the final. But this was their first year putting a team together. |
Putting together a team? or a dozen? |
Not that it really matters but why do you think they weren’t able to win more? They have good players who looked to have been training hard. |
| It’s almost like they’re becoming a club. Cheer the victories but when they lose, it’s because it’s development to reach higher goals. |
I guess I don't understand what's wrong with this. |
Last year was their first year providing futsal training. Training was once a week and league games thru First Touch Futsal on the weekends. They just exploded in the futsal scene this year. |
Doing the same things that clubs do. Playing both sides of the argument. "It's because of our methodology that we won!" "We only lost because we are only looking to develop." It seems that they could just let their training speak for itself instead of playing to the IG crowd. |
