lol I am the one that bought sleds off Amazon. I also went to Target and they had a ton of options too. I guess I am the only one planning for this snow day.

I don’t need to plan. We always have food, and we’ve had the same sleds and snow shovels for a decade plus. Salt is gross and I don’t put it down ever.

My husband and kids are going skiing tomorrow so I will get the house all clean and make we have the ingredients for soup, chili, sandwiches, and lasagna, in addition to some fresh fruit and veggies. We definitely still have baked goods and baking ingredients galore. Enjoy the 3-5 day weekend!

Maybe some people can practice abandoning their cars in Tysons?

Did Metro ever buy a plow and diesel locomotive so they can clear the above ground tracks?

You made me laugh out loud and shiver with fear remembering what was it 2011? When people just abandoned their cars all over the place?

OP here. Greater than 50% chance for 8 inches of snow inside the beltway:

I legitimately need TP (down to 1 roll) and eggs (down to 1), I hope they aren’t sold out everywhere!

Come on, we've known of this storm potential for a week. If the stores are emptied out, it's on you.

Automatic weekly generator self-test went off with no issues yesterday night. Moved the snow blower into the garage. 4x4 has had its snow tires on since Thanksgiving week. We are all set.
