What is a reasonable travel budget for a year

So I got curious about this, and did some math. I'm too lazy to go look up our tax returns, but we are at about 250k as well and the internet says that after taxes net would be about 166k. And then if the 7% travel budget according to the interwebs is reasonable, lol, which it sounds as thought it is, 7% of 166k is $11,620. Seems reasonable.

Unfortunately I have medical issues that mean I absolutely have to sleep, or I will have big problems -- and I can't sleep sitting up. So I have to fly business with a lie-flat seat. So we only go abroad every third year or so given how much of the budget the flights are.
