My mom is an OB and has cared for celebrities and celebrity wives. At her hospital there’s a special wing but that’s for all specialties, not just labor and delivery. I think celebrities give birth in the largest room (the room that would be for multiples births like twins) and then after birth they are transferred to celebrity wing. Celebrity wing didn’t have all the machines and tools for labor and delivery but postpartum care can be done there. Most of her celebrities are sports stars wives, but she’s also had movie stars.
Celebrity wing isn’t just because they pay $$$ but it’s also because there can be fans or protestors trying to get in. Labor and Delivery is a secure area with tracking bracelets, but other hospital floors aren’t that secure. |
Fascinating, what area is she in? |
The richest people don’t leave their homes for birth, the medical providers come to them! Enjoying labor in your home environment and keeping the riff-raff out is the most elitist thing one can do.

Not true. Home birth is dangerous. Most celebrity and billionaire children are still born in hospitals. |
I'm guessing this is a hospital in NYC or something? |
Kate Middleton herself went to a hospital. As do the Kardashians. |
THE celebrity hospital is Cedars-Sinai. Cedars does not have a designated celebrity wing, but it does have multiple suites which allow you to post private security outside.
|
It's not Cedars-Sinai. Cedars doesn't have a celebrity wing. |
Sibley used to have an entire floor for vip that was remodeled for a Saudi prince’s daughter who had twins. Also lots of armed guards. |
This is so sweet. |
She had a pulmonary embolism, which is completely different. Blood clots. |
