First two years on some random satellite campus then 2 on main. I don't know why anyone would consider this esp for penn state

Ignoring your condescending comment, many people opt for 2+2 because it is substantially cheaper than university park.

We’re still waiting for engineering

Oh sorry I didn't realize it was cheaper. Then there is an advantage.

The branch campuses don't represent a good value for out of state residents. It would be significantly cheaper for a VA resident to attend community college and then transfer to a VA college than to do 2+2 OOS. My son was admitted to Penn State UP this week for engineering but we would have not considered 2+2 OOS.

Endowment/capita is less than 100k, low test scores, low submitting %. To each their own, I guess.

Not all of us are as brilliant as you. My DD will be over the moon if she gets in. I’m glad she has a positive and grateful attitude for the opportunities in her life.

Good luck to your daughter! Penn State's slow roll of decisions is definitely the strangest and most frustrating process that we have encountered so far. My son received his decision in mid December.

Can you please share the thread? I looked and couldn't find it. Thanks!!

Good lord, people. I have a daughter at Penn State who loves it there and is getting a great education. Joe Pa is dead and Sandusky will be over 100 before he's even eligible to leave prison. It's ancient history.

You know what’s not ancient history? The underwhelming performance of the football team's offense this season. My son was thrilled to be recently admitted, but after the loss to Notre Dame, he’s starting to have second thoughts.
