Expensive gift question: Do married women have dream cars anymore?

Anonymous
No my dream car, but DH got me a new Range Rover in my preferred color scheme for Christmas last year.

Not really. Just something reliable and moderately nice.

So tacky

One of my friend's dream cars was one of those 80s two toned Broncos. She got one last year. I love it because I always know it's her when I see her out and about. She has NO idea where her love for it came, she's wanted one since she was a kid (we are in our late 30s).

I do.

A '69 Corvette Stingray
A '70 Datsun 240Z
An Aston Martin DB5

Wealthy women love new Porsche 911s. Very elegant and sporty look.

Vintage Broncos are certainly having a moment. They pop into a lot of instagram feeds.

I’m 45 and maybe if I had a bigger driveway or garage, I would love to have a vintage sports car, a right-hand drive vintage Japanese truck, and a Jeep to go with my boring mom Volvo.

But realistically I’m driving a million miles a week and wouldn’t want to do it in a fussy car or a loud, uncomfortable car.

My dream is to keep my existing basic Volvo but magically upgrade it so it has an integrated garage door opener. And cooling seats.

That’s what I learned to drive on! We had a red and white one for awhile and then we had a black and silver one.

My dream car is a’59 El Camino

My favorite car that I ever had was a 1954 Ford Crestline but I would be happy with a vintage Delahaye.

Cars are so personal that you just have to ask her.

I confess I have always wanted a car with a big bow on it for a gift. But it isn’t going to happen. We aren’t fancy car people. Or expensive gift people. DH drives an 18 yr old Blazer, and I’m in 7 yr old Subaru Forrester.

I'd drive that Blazer until the wheels fell off .. Nice ride IMO!

We will, lol.
