Siblings at the same college?

Anonymous
My twin sister and I went to the same college (I didn't think I would get in so was obviously prepared to go elsewhere). To be honest, it didn't even occur to me how much easier it was for our parents, especially since college was an 11 hour ride from home.

I have this, two years apart. It really great for our family, although they don’t see each other often.

Our son and daughter were at the same Ivy two years apart. They both loved although they ran in completely different circles, majors, EC's etc. Was great for us parents when visiting campus, same school breaks, sharing a car, etc.
We loved getting photos texted to us when they ran into each other on campus.

No one knows how your kids get along right now or how close they are or if they have the same or different friends or the same or different interests or personalities or if they hate each other etc. Only you know that. You should be able to get a good read on this simply by knowing how things are between them right now.

I went to the same college as two of my siblings. One of my siblings and I were a year apart and close in high school and once we got to college we had the same friends and had a great time together. My other sibling was a couple years older and had different friends and different interests in both high school and college and I didn’t see that much of him on campus. But we only overlapped one year. We also were fine (and still are).

Agree with this. Were your kids at the same HS? How did that go? Why would college be any different?

OP here. You are both enormous morons. I didn't ask what you thought MY kids experience would be, if you had any reading skills you'd have seen that. If you don't have kids at the same college your opinions are of no value anyway. Seriously, such time wasters.

I think attending same college at same time isn't great for independence and privacy but attending same college at different times is great for a common bond.
