Alec Baldwin thinks you are very uninformed about reality

I am not a fan of his, but he's correct that many Americans are ill informed and unaware. I'd add, also not curious about what they don't know.

+1 obviously, how is this even up for debate?

Instead when asked today about the movie Rust her talks about how hard it has been on.....

Wait for it.... Not on the young boy who lost his mom.... not the widower....not the cast members who watched Halyna Hutchins die in front of them...not the director who was shot and hospitalized but

This is who has been the most traumatized according to this POS Alex Baldwin:

"My wife has been very, very traumatized from this," he told the outlet. "There has been a lot of pain. When you are married to somebody and everything was going fairly well and we had seven kids … and the floor falls out. It’s very frightening and very disturbing. And we are trying to get the wind in our sails, to get away from this stuff. Because the film doesn’t stand by itself. It’s always going to be overshadowed by this."

He only very briefly mentions Halyna Hutchins, and doesn't seem to mention Director Joel Souza, who was hospitalized after being hit in the shoulder. He doesn't mention Andros Hutchins who is probably around 12 years old now who lost his mom. But remember isn't the boy who has been traumatized or the cast members who watched Halyna die, it is his wife who has been "very, very traumatized".

Why do you twist and distort the truth to spread hate?

Here's what he said:

Ha. Touche. But also, he's right. A majority of Americans recently made an excessively poor choice.

And many Americans felt the same way about your choice in 2020. The fact that anyone would listen to this hit head who verbally abused his daughter and mentally abused her mom is laughable. He is beyond cancelled in many people’s minds as is his fake Spanish wife with her new fake boobs.

Correct. Only low I.Q. types listen to puppet celebrities about any issues or care what they have to say.

Alec agrees with you too. That's what the interview was about.

He clearly does not know when to shut up. Such an stunningly insensitive thing to say.

Beyond insensitive, it was also an amazingly stupid thing to say.

Yet here he is, lecturing to the world that Americans are supposedly stupid?

He needs to take a long look in the mirror. And then STFU.

Agree. The IQ of Hollywood is non existent, the last thing I'm doing is alienating my income stream by saying stupid things about them.

He's someone who always wants more and is jealous and insecure. He is a person of average intelligence who wants to be seen as an intellectual, but he just isn't. He wants everyone to listen to him and doesn't know when to retreat. He needs to fade away for a while after the shooting and trial but he won't because he wants people to hear his opinions. He also needs money. He and his wife and kids are going to be on a reality show on TLC. It's already been filmed and will be on the air in January.

Well, I for one am happy that Alec is there to think for me. I'm just an uneducated white woman.

this post is a little misleading. It wasn't as though he was trashing americans straight out - if you read it, he was actually saying the media is the reason so many americans are uninformed because they are just entertainment, not news. Mass media is a problem and is keeping much of america very ignorant about things they (media) don't choose to "report" on.

Now, I could make a million different arguments about americans actually being complete morons, but that wasn't the point of this article.

Alec has done some crappy things in his life, but what he is saying in this article isn't wrong.

PS I'm still completely confused about how Alec was tried for the death other than he happened to be handed the gun that had live ammunition rather than blanks. He wasn't convicted, so a jury saw it the same way, apparently. I mean, maybe I'm missing a detail or something? But it isn't as though he went on a rampage. I'm sure he carries guilt for being the person who happened to pull the trigger on the gun that shot a live bullet that shouldn't have been there, but it was still an accident.
