If you love tea (a bracing cuppa)

Also, I have learned that I do drink coffee after it gets cold. I have become accustomed. But my tea goes cold so quick and it's over. I guess I have too many distractions in the AM and I need to just DRINK THE TEA while it is hot.

wish me luck. When it is good, it is so good, right?

Tea shouldn’t get cold faster than coffee. In fact the opposite- tea is made with boiling water, and coffee isn’t (or at least in my coffee maker, the water is clearly not at a rolling boil). I love both coffee and tea and drink lots of both, and I can tell you that most teas aren’t good when they’re cool/room temperature. At least in my opinion, tea has to be either really hot or cold/iced, no in between (although I’m sure many will disagree).

If your tea isn’t strong enough, then it’s either old and/or you’re not steeping it long enough. And finally, if you’re accustomed to very strong coffee flavors, most teas aren’t going to be as strong. It’s just a different flavor profile.

I love tea. I don't like it piping hot though so I don't think my reasons will resonate with you. I prefer the flavour over coffee. Tea I drink black - it's coffee I insist on having milk in.

Also I don’t like it with just milk. I drink it black and occasionally with milk and sugar.

I don’t understand how it’s not hot enough, using my kettle a cup will stay hot for a while.

Tea is a bit more subtle than coffee or espresso, you aren’t going to get the same intensity of flavor.

The Yorkshire Gold they sell in the grocery stores here is gross. I bought some from Giant after we came back from England and it tasted of nothing. I suspect that the boxes of it here sit unbought for years.

I like strong tea in the afternoon and often use two teabags. At one point I found some British "strong" tea that came in the form of something like small bbs. It made a nice cup.
