| My dog wears an AirTag on her collar, and my iPhone repeatedly gives me a prompt to synch with the AirTag whenever she gets close. Not sure if that would happen in your scenario. |
What if the person has an Android? Doesn't it show up in the bluetooth setting? |
Not true. If someone leaves an airtag in your car, you get alerted. |
I can see all of the devices of all of my family members because they are all registered to one account. When I click on Find mY, the list is a long scroll. |
| If you don’t share accounts, you can leave a device in his car, like apple airpods and it will show on your “find my” app under devices. If he finds them, it leaves you with plausible deniability - “oh I’ve been looking for those”. Just make sure you leave them in a laudably lost spot that you would have been in at some point. (Under the seat, in between seat cushions, in the trunk if you got something out of there recently, etc. |
| Use a fleet tracker. I recommend LandAirSea. Anything that piggybacks on the FindMy network will alert the person it’s following. |
