First Watch is not an upscale restaurant, but they serve upscale breakfasts. I don’t think there is such a thing as an upscale restaurant that focuses on breakfast and closes mid afternoon. FW has healthy options, but also has some calorie bombs. They have sweet items and savory items. They have vegetarian options. They have tons of breakfast choices and some lunch items as well. They have seasonal dishes. They have interesting drinks. Sign up for their customer loyalty program and you get a free meal for your birthday. I don’t like that they don’t take reservations, but the only really negative thing I have to say about FW is their Million Dollar Bacon is terrible. |
| The bacon is to kill for. As in, if you come and touch the bacon they bring me, I'm gonna kill you dead right there. |
| They don’t have gluten free pancakes. I would rather go to IHOP. Gluten free kids don’t want avocado toast. |
Gluten free pancakes are bullshit anyway. |
| I would never go there. Just another Dennys/Bob Evans/IHop. I only do brunches occasionally. I like the Greenhouse, Le Diplomate, Pembroke. |
“I come for the pancakes....I stay for the projectile diarrhea” |
I like that I can get different pancakes on 1 plate. My teens way prefer FW to IHOP. |
Seriously. Just get eggs and bacon if you want to be gluten free. |
Tell that to my 10 yo with celiac, its a tough road watching their sibling get sweets for breakfast. |
| We like it. It's always really crowded though. |
| Unlike the PP, I liked the millionaires bacon! Maybe it depends where you get it. |
