Is it safe to leave produce on a counter that was just wiped with Clorox wipes?

FYI when EPA approves these products, they'll say if the surface you're using on is going to come into contact with food, a "potable water rinse" is required. This is because when EPA does a risk assessment of a product, the agency has to assess tolerance levels for food contact. The way these products pass a risk assessment for food is by assuming people rinse the surface with water after they use the product. The risk is very minimal still if the surface is dry, but you should rinse after using a wipe on a food contact surface. You also don't need to disinfect in this situation very often...I use soap and water mostly for my countertops with the occasional sanitizer to kill bacteria from raw meats, etc.
