OP, sit ups will do zero for your belly fat. Reducing your calorie intake MIGHT. I'm another one of those skinny people who hangs on to a bit of lower belly fat even if the rest of the body looks emaciated. It's just where my body hangs onto its last fat reserve - getting rid of it would require such a low body fat percentage that I would be miserable and unhealthy. Focus on getting stronger and improving your cardiovascular health. Those two things may help you both with your stress and body composition.

Who are you people who think only eating/drinking, causes a belly?
Stress raises cortisol levels How being stressed can cause belly fat https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/health/wellness/does-stress-affect-weight |
This is possibly the most idiotic post I've seen on DCUM this year. No, most stressed people are not thin. Everybody responds to stress differently. Some people lose their appetite, but in general chronically elevated cortisol drives hunger, not self starvation. I mean seriously, are you suggesting that while 74% of Americans are overweight or obese, they are not at all stressed, only the underweight or normal weight people are stressed? So. Dumb. |
