Instrumental. Jazz in particular (at the moment anyway). Also blues, but that’s likely a genre to explore more outside of school.


SJC may be a good place to investigate as jazz is a particular interest/strength of the band director. There are four levels of extracurricular jazz groups/ensembles as well as the various band electives.

Anyone saying non Catholic is fine is likely a non Catholic with a child at Catholic school. Stone Ridge and Holy Child have been overrun by non Catholics seeking lower tuition and in the case of HC, tons of learning support too. So if your child is a girl, try one of those.
