Wasting creamer for coffee

Anonymous
My mother uses one serving of creamer every day and lives alone. She buys the box of 20 or so single serving size creamers so she opens a new one every day.

You could also buy a pint of half and half and sweeten with maple syrup.

If you put half and half in your coffee and *still* need sweetener, you need to reevaluate your life choices.

I drink hot coffee black and iced coffee with heavy cream, no sweetener in either.

I do pick up whatever holiday creamer will make me happy for thanksgiving week and Christmas week, but I’m done with the taste within 7 days. I’d probably keep it longer anyway though.

[Psst: A half pint commonly is referred to as "a cup." You're welcome.]

dp I think you need to revaluate your need to be the 'school scold' It is my coffee, not yours and I will put whatever I want in it.

DP. No one refers to buying a container of coffee creamer, milk, juice, etc. in “cups”

I’m not a coffee drinker. Is powdered creamer not a thing anymore? My dad used to use powdered whole milk as creamer, that has a long shelf life.

This. Or better yet, drink it black.

That's me! I cannot imagine sweetening coffee.

Oh yeah. That stuff. My work had it in the mid-90s. They were so cheap.
I remember going to conferences back then with that stuff.

I use heavy cream. It’s so decadent, I look forward to it every morning!

Half and half is just a mix of milk and cream- doesn’t have sweetener in it.
