Extracurriculares for a 6 year-old, is this too much?

He has:
- soccer 2x a week (that is our usual Fall/Spring activity).
- piano classes 1x week
- tennis class 1x week
- language class 1x week

He did tennis during the summer, and seems interested in continuing. Language class is just 30 minutes with his babysitter , and then playtime. Most of these will take place during the weekend (with the exception of piano, which most likely will be during the week).

Is this too much? I don’t want to over schedule my kid, but feel like activities such as music and language need to be year long.

That's not a language class. Your baby sitter is teaching him a few oral phrases, which he will mostly forget. No writing or reading, no practice outside the half hour. I would drop a sport and find a more rigorous language learning class or school if you actually want him to learn it.

It’s fine. Don’t worry.

I mean DD is now 12 but at 6 she begged to play pre academy soccer + rec soccer so 3x wk practices, games and also piano 1x wk. when they are young they go full out! So be prepared these days it's a lot for kids. I'm always exhausted and drivings a second job but it doesn't stop as they get older.
