Op here: thanks everyone!
Saw a lot of Claire recommendations which we love but unfortunately my cousins 3 year old daughter is Claire so that’s off the table. Right now we like Hazel, Mila and Elliana but not really ready to stick with any of those yet. |
Elliana and Emmett sound too samey for me. I like Hazel best of your short list here. |

Rebekah - this spelling!
Adelaide Gabrielle Gwendolyn Helena Lydia Susannah Victoria |
Marybeth is a nickname for Mary Elizabeth. How about Meredith? |
Like Lydia with Emmett |
I love all these names, and I would add Cora. I know only one Cora and she's in her twenties. |
| Edith |
+ 1. Also, Eliana sounds too frilly to me. I love the name Hazel. Also, Agnes. |
|
Corina
Arabella Magnolia Aurelia |
Arianna is a good alternative |

Agree two "E" names is too much even though I think Elliana is a pretty name (though I also personally would stay away from El- names because this is a major name trend that is actually more common than top 10 names like Charlotte or Lily when you add up all the Eleanors/Elizabeths/Ellies/Elianas/Eloises/Elenas/etc.).
Hazel is really lovely (was a top name for us and almost became our DD's name) but if it is important to you that the names "go together" I would look for something with slightly sharper consonants to go with Emmett. Some suggestions that are similar but feel like the go a bit better with Emmett to me: Cora Olive Mabel Alice Nora |
Hazel was already overdone back when everyone was doing Hazel, Violet, Iris, Opal, etc. Mila is great. Elliana is a bit of a mouthful - would you consider Elena? |
