Some (most?) moms have jobs, people pay for childcare, or keep all their kids at home together. Its not rocket science.

Well yes, but we aren't talking about "some" moms here. We are talking about a specific mom who was obviously asking about a time when she was home and not at work. On the other hand, speculating that she must have a husband at home, is weird. Because assuming someone is or isn't working at any given moment, unless they have told us, is weird.

So the big kids go to the pool when Dad IS home too. Not when mom is alone with them and a newborn. Obvi.
