| Full Key Wheaton. Still has that old school Chinese American look. I know it’s not the most ‘authentic’, but their Americanized dishes are very good. Great soups, stir fried veggies and other dishes. |

I had been looking for a good thai restaurant for many years after I moved from the west coast. I tried like 5 different ones, and they were all meh. Someone on this forum mentioned the Thai Cuisine in Rockville, and I have to say, that was pretty decent. It's in a strip mall, and looks like nothing from the outside, but the food was pretty good. |

| I love Lib’s Grille. A few locations but I usually go to maple lawn. Great brunch which is a favorite of mine. Fun cocktails and menu items without breaking the bank. |

I mentioned this Ethiopian plane on the tej wine thread. Check the Google reviews. People agree it's good food:

Mandalay in Silver Spring

Thank you! I see Pines of Rome mentioned all the time and it’s so bad! I’ve been there twice - it was bad the first time, but it has such a good reputation that we felt we had to try again. They serve undercooked Barilla pasta and the service is bad. I don’t get why it gets so much love. |
