I dont understand people's need to crowdsource their kids' names to be completely frank. Adding that there shouldn't be a "bad" name vs "good" name competition anyways. Its kind of tacky especially since it always seems to be the Anglo Saxon Christian names that are on the latter list--- just somehow Peter or Richard/Dick makes it on there, which is another name for penis but its a "good name".


Totally. It's racism and xenophobia. An innocuous name that's not lily white will get tons of "Oh but they'll always be teased or called X or it sounds like an ED medication" but yeah, Peter and Catherine are amazing!!!


I thought OP was referencing the recent posts asking about Skye, Havilland, Ryker, Ripley, etc.


Those are not classic names...funnily enough they are all english/german/scottish in origin but not good enough for the biddies of DCUM.
