BOE failed to properly supervise the last superintendent. BOE should be just as accountable. I see a lot of displeasure directed at the last super who took 1.3m, but the BOE is the entity that hired and fired and gave her severance.

You should post to her account. No one else has.

But two current Board of Education members immediately followed her.

I guess Shebra Evans doesn't mind (very likely) being voted out and losing her $24K plus benefits job in the service of her sorority sister Monifa McKnight.

It's obvious that Shebra and Brenda were the only allies McKnight had left on the board when she was ousted, so it's not surprising to see them remain loyal to her.

Following someone on Twitter isn't exactly an indicator of loyalty; it means you want to know what they're posting.

+1 Exactly. It's not an indicator either way.

I'm shocked she has 0 comments. Not even the haters.

Adam Pagnucco spotted that disgraced former MCPS superintendent Dr. Monifa McKnight has re-emerged from sapping our school district of $1.3 million dollars with a rosy outlook on life as she encourages former MCPS students and parents to share memorable moments with her under her very own hashtag, #MomentswithMonifa.

Here's Adam's recap: https://montgomeryperspective.com/2024/06/17/a-moment-with-monifa/

And here are some of the tweets straight from the horse's mouth:

This Twitter account is proof that communications really was not her strength and at the root of a lot of her own self-inflicted wounds. She's so full of herself that she can't see how tone deaf and off-putting this posturing is to a school district that has been thrown into a complete freefall thanks to her corruption, feeble leadership and lack of remorse. She is truly shameless.

She's trolling Lynn and the rest of the board. No one is this clueless.

JEFF!!! You need to hack Twitter and put a stop to this outrageous disrespect of a black woman having a first name!!

McKnight had a couple of diehard fans on the BOE. Why do you think it took so much money to get rid of McKnight?

Not sad for her. Monifa is getting lots of taxpayer money thanks to our BOE! She’s doing just fine.

hot take: I think this is a troll account. I don’t really believe it’s her behind it.

This is why I didn't vote for any incumbents in the primary, nor will I vote for any incumbents in the general.

You’d be wrong if you thought all BOE members were fans of McKnight. It only took 5 of 8 votes to make her superintendent.

McKnight doesn't have to work for a few years. We should all have it so good. But at this point, she is irrelevant.

I don't think they are AI, she has normal hands and the right number of fingers. I think she got new professional headshots with her braces off. The candid one of her in the evening gown is FaceTuned/beauty edited to the gills.
