Sickening video shows Palestinians abusing five female hostages

This is what terrorists organizations do. How is the video shocking? There have been horrific videos of terrorists doing all kinds of inhumane things to innocent people made public as long as the internet or TV has been around.

It’s not going to stop either until Israel agrees to a two state solution. Only then can Palestinians hope to join the modern world and denounce terrorism.

There is zero chance that Palestinians will have a state as long as Hamas exists. They've had chance after chance to have an independent state. And they chose terror instead. They are no different than ISIS. And ISIS too was crushed. Videos like those above make it very clear what despicable men Hamas are. And that's what Palestinians in Gaza chose for themselves. Too bad.

I can't watch/click on this..sexual violence is extremely horrific to me. Can anyone explain the content and context without being overly graphic? Is this related to Oct Hamas actions, who are the women and what is the provenance of the video (ie how has it surfaced now)?

There's no sexual violence. A few of the women are bleeding (I'm pretty sure this was taken shortly after they were captured), their hands are bound, there's armed men guarding/moving them into the back of a vehicle. They women are soldiers, captured a military base, and it's a video of them being held as prisoners of war. It's being released now by the parents of the women to try and pressure the Israeli government to negotiate for their release.

Not sure what you hoped to accomplish by posting this video, OP. Everyone knows Hamas is terrible and doesn’t care about human life, including that of Palestinians. Still doesn’t make what’s going on in Gaza okay. One more video is not going to change anyone’s mind.

This video is not translated properly. They do not talk about rape or refer to the women as the ones who can get pregnant. The term in Arabic means a female prisoner of war.

Liar. It’s a different video entirely

Mainstream press (NYT, Washington Post) are all reporting that the correct translation is that the Hamas militant called the women dogs and they would crush them. The video is horrible enough on its own there is really no need to make up lies about what it says.

It was also release by hostage families to pressure the govt to bring home the hostages. Relying on co tinier military force is not the path to that action.

These women were all members of the IDF. They are legitimate POWs. A blockade is an act of war, don't be upset if the other side attacks troops enforcing the blockade

Can you show us videos of the ultra orthodox men and women conscripted in the IDF?

The fact of the matter is that the people most responsible for Israel's current predicament do not serve or sacrifice. Which is exactly why the current Likud government is not negotiating harder for the release of the hostages; they are not ultra orthodox Likud supporters. These young female conscripts were purposefully left to the wolves on October 6.

I applaud the families for having the courage to release the video. Allegedly there are an additional 7 minutes of video that are not being publicized because it show the execution of the young women in this video. The women at the end of the video who are escorted out of the building are not the same women bound and bleeding.
