You guys aren't gonna like this answer, but....
Marjorie Taylor Greene |
| Most of the women people mention here are very thin. |
| Brooke Burke. And she's had multiple kids. Her fitness includes insane flexibility for her age. |
The best butt in Hollywood |
Brie Larson is 34, naturally thin, and has never had kids. It's totally reasonable for her to be both thin and super strong -- at her age I was working as a personal trainer and was super strong but was also very thin. My body was pretty similar to the above photo. Now at 44, I am still on the thin side but after two pregnancies and likely the start of perimenopause, I am thicker in the middle and I get more bulk with strength training, especially in my arms and thighs (not complaining, just noting how bodies change over time). I think Brie Larson is pretty ripped when she's in top form for Captain Marvel. Kelly Ripa is 53 and has multiple kids. I am sure she works out a ton and believe she must do some lifting, but she's so teeny tiny that I'm guess a lot of it for her is about diet and cardio/calorie burn. Her husband is the same and I get the sense they work out together a lot and must be on special diets. They aren't training to play superheroes, they are just trying to stay as small and youthful looking as possible so that they can look good next to the celebs they interview. It is not about being (or looking) strong. Whereas Larson genuinely is training to at least look strong, plus filming movies like that is physically grueling even when you have a stunt double -- she is absolutely running, jumping, working on wires, etc., stuff that requires a lot of strength and stamina. I think her body is legit. |
You can be thin and strong. Also most Hollywood actresses and pop stars are thin as a requirement of their job, so the list is going to run that way. I actually think the thinner celebrities can pursue more heavy duty strength training with less professional blowback. For actresses, in particular, if you are already bigger, you will be told by agents and casting directors that looking too "hard" will make you look too masculine for a lot of roles. Whereas a very petite actress can get away with more because there is no threat of her looking larger than a leading man. Musicians/singers have more leeway (i.e. Pink, who is not naturally tiny and then trains to be incredibly strong and built) but still not a lot. Pink was pretty well established before she started working out and building muscle mass the way she does now. Most female singers are expected to look like ingenues on stage and the red carpet, fit into designer samples, etc. It's only mildly more body inclusive than the film/TV industry. |
Bad built, I fear. |
Madonna |
Jane Fonda |
She is more feminine than athletic. |
She is in great shape I am sure, but she is not athletic. And doesn’t really have defined muscles anywhere on her body. Her legs are kind of just straight, no definition at all on the calves or thighs. |
| Pippa Middleton. |
