Move for private school or drive 40-45 mins

| We were going to move closer to DC from Bethesda as our kid's school was in Georgetown and "we loved it". Our children were in PK and K and the commute was at least 40 min each way. We staged our house, got ready to sell, started looking into other houses we liked closer to DC...alas! The "perfect" school stopped being perfect. 🤯 We stayed 1 more year and ran. I am SO happy we didn't move. Found a private 10 min away from our beautiful home in Bethesda. My advice; don't marry a school. Things change and what is now in a school setting can change from year to year. |
