Oooh I love this thread. I have been on a kick this year where I read all uplifting books (after a lifetime and career of classics... just need the uplifting). One of my recent favorites is This Bird Has Flown by Susana Hoffs (The Bangles). It's part rom-com fun but also about music and making art. I read over a hundred books a year on kindle and then buy a hard copy if I loved it and this was my last purchase.
