USC has just cancelled graduation ceremony

USC students should be furious at their administrators. They should all be fired.
Why did they prevent the valedictorian from speaking? Completely ridiculous.

Sad, devastating even. Women and minorities in this country, especially, deserve better than what's coming.

oh that's rich.

Rs have just set women's right to control their bodies back 50 years, and let's not forget how much Rs despise any DEI.

What did they think was going to happen when they took away the valedictory address? They no one was going to notice because their only victim was a young Muslim woman?

All this because Jewish pressure groups would not let an Asian Muslim speak.

Wow just wow. Why do these group have so much power? Very scary.

USC is a weird school anyway (see the Dean of school of medicine scandal a few years ago, US News scandal...). It'll be a warning to other schools that tolerating extremist messages on campuses will mean disruptions neither donors nor families will appreciate.

Yes these pro Israel groups must be shut down and their members expelled. Long past time to remove these extremists.

I assume you mean pro-Hamas groups. Could not agree more. Hamas sympathizer terrorists have zero place on US campuses.

Protester assaulted police there yesterday (deliberately knocked the officer to the ground) plus an ADW arrest.

The reason there’s no graduation: violence and threats of violence from the protesters.

Maybe because they've been victimized on dozens of campuses recently. Have you not been following the news? I think the speaker should have been allowed to speak but you can't be serious if you are wondering why Jewish students are worried.

Brutal for the class of ‘24.
Likely didn’t get a high school graduation during COVID in 2020, and now won’t get a traditional college graduation

I think the class of 2024 should sue the university for money back. This is ridiculous.

I think you don’t know much about the law.

I’ve been busy all day. Has he made any statements?

Let’s hope not.

Most people despise DEI now, in case you haven’t noticed. This is what DEi has wrought.

November can’t come soon enough

I don't understand why USC doesn't just put everyone through security and make it a ticketed event (2 ticket per graduate). No signs, no banners, no paraphernalia, no bags. Everyone gets a pat down or goes through TSA-style x-ray machine. Anyone who tries to interrupt graduation ceremony get arrested and charged; if its a student, they get expelled and no degree.

Lots of the protestors on campuses are outsiders.

It's as if USC isn't even trying to make good on its commitment and responsibilities. They have the money and manpower to do a secure event.

Of course it's somehow Biden's fault

A few bad apples ruined it for everyone.
