| Do students really get a prom bus? How about limo? |
|
$80 ticket.
Got a free circa 1980s dress from Once Upon a Prom $20 for hemming. Will try to drop another $20 to seamstress. That was crazy low. Doing hair/nails herself Will get dinner with friends close to prom venue No after prom from our school. Pretty upset about this, since prom ends at 10:30. Will ride with friends, or I may drive to offer door to door service in the rain. It's a big 80s dress! |

Boy $70 prom ticket and less than $40 for nice meal. No clothes to buy/ he’s worn this same suit for several years (was expensive Nordstrom)- that’s an advantage of a boy though no new clothes every time.
It was a fun night before him but he’s been mostly focused on AP exams. |
Why are you upset exactly? |
DP. Could it be because if there was after-prom the party would go until 2am or longer keeping students from other shenanigans? If no after prom, fun ends too early, which for some is ok for others too early and they end up hanging out somewhere else anyways. Need a lot of volunteers/parents and $ to have after prom. |
I read it to mean that the kid was upset. |
Many get a bus to take them downtown to the Lincoln Memorial for photos (and onto dinner and prom). It’s affordable for a group and way better than driving themselves. The trouble is organizing themselves into a group. |
