I seriously doubt this! But sure let OP try and report back.

Correct, according to their website:

Limited spaces do remain in grades 2-6 for September 2024. Please contact Liz Hendrickson at lhendrickson@acdsnet.org or 703-837-1303 for more information.

It hasn’t been fully enrolled in several years. There might not be spots in every grade, but they’ll take just about anyone if there’s space in the grade because they need more students.

Really? I didn't think they had any openings in 6th. Lots of parents fleeing GW.

According to their website and email they do have space in 6th. I think a lot of families leave in 6+ to go to another independent through 12th

This is completely false. Not sure why this person keeps posting it, but there is no truth to it. Sheridan is fully enrolled and has waitlists.

Odds are the truth falls somewhere in the middle- some grades are full and a few spaces remain here and there. From the Sheridan website: The application deadline for the 2024-2025 school year has passed. We are still accepting applications for classes with space available. Please contact us to find out more: admissions@sheridanschool.org

Ok....then why is this on their website? OP - call all the schools! Ignore people saying they are full.

THE TRADITIONAL 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR APPLICATION SEASON IS NOW CLOSED. WE HAVE A FEW OPENINGS IN SELECT GRADES FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN EXPLORING LATE ADMISSION, PLEASE SUBMIT AN INQUIRY AND WE WILL REACH OUT IF AN OPENING IS AVAILABLE.

Sheridan has been fully enrolled since Covid (it was one of the first schools to resume in-person learning, which made it an attraction destination, particularly for public school families). However, there may be some openings in a few classes next year. It really depends on the grade. As with any school it is always best to ask directly. Unless people on this board are admissions directors, they don't know.

NPS always has openings, but you’ll start the application process for 7th grade immediately at the start of the school year

Plenty of openings at St. Pats

The bet thing to do is just email all the K-8s you can think of that might be fits. It can be really random who has openings. Sometimes they need a girls or boys to balance a grade so even if they are at “full” they might add a student of the gender they are low on (often girls)

They have a waitlist in almost every grade - including all lower school grades
